All fire departments recognized by the Kentucky Fire Commission are required to enter training records for all firefighters. Each department may have up to four authorized users of the Training Records Program. The training for each firefighter is tracked and will be reflected on the fire departments records. These records are used to establish qualifications for participating in the State Aid and Incentive & Pension programs; as well as continuing to be a recognized fire department in the Commonwealth.
