Save the date: Quality Mgmt Training Feb. 17-22

Calling all company-level officers, chief officers, and supervisors who have department-level EMS quality assurance/quality improvement responsibilities:

A R0158 Emergency Medical Services: Quality Management, will be held Feb. 17-22 in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

This six-day course defines the critical components, background and principles associated with the implementation, or enhancement, of a department’s Quality Management Program.

Students learn how to create, implement and maintain a Quality Management Program. The course defines a global analysis approach based upon reviewing historical examples, current models, best practices of quality assurance and improvement, process improvement, and data collection.

Throughout the course, students work on culminating activities relating to the development of a Quality Management Program. Students present the activity with classmates and instructors at the end of the course, allowing all students to take examples of Quality Management Programs to their departments.
