CPAT Exemption Expiration Notice

The COVID-19 Candidate Physical Ability Testing (CPAT) exemption has expired effective January 22, 2021.

If your department employed a firefighter in 2020 that was required to produce a CPAT card as a condition of employment, and that firefighter has not successfully passed CPAT to date, they will have 90 days from January 22, 2021 to obtain a CPAT card.

The CPAT schedule for 2021 will be placed on the Kentucky Fire Commission website as sessions are finalized and can be found at:
