Fire Instructor Renewal Waiver

Due to circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic as well as transfer to a new data collection system, the Kentucky Fire Commission will be exempting all fire instructor renewals for the 2020 cycle.

At this time the Kentucky Administrative Regulation (KAR) is under review due to the changes to the NFPA standard, Accredited Certification requirements, and Fire Commission Policies and Procedures.  We will advise of further information concerning Fire Instructor regulations and requirements at a later date.
