Flood Relief Donations

With the devastation that Eastern Kentucky is currently undergoing, we know many fire departments would like to assist their fellow firefighters and fire departments, along with the citizens and communities who are experiencing this unprecedented flooding. Many fire departments have been affected by this – some facing major damage and some with minor damage. Director of Operations Jeremy Rodgers and Director of Training Marc Rudder are traveling through flooded counties today and speaking with fire department representatives to assess their needs. Both men are also working with local officials who are setting up donation centers and organizing distribution logistics.

Once logistical channels are in order to accept and distribute donations for affected fire departments, we will relay information via our email distribution list, the Fire Commission website (https://kyfirecommission.kctcs.edu), and the Fire Commission Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/KYFireCommission). In the meantime, if your department is interested in providing assistance with equipment or supplies, please email Jeremy Rodgers (jeremy.rodgers@kctcs.edu) a list of items/equipment you are willing to donate.
