Hybrid EMT & EMT-Advanced Class Announcement
The Kentucky Fire Commission is pleased to announce an EMT-Basic and an EMT-Advanced to be held on a hybrid platform. Classroom sessions will be held virtually two nights per week, with in-person hands-on training conducted at several locations throughout the Commonwealth on select Saturdays. Classes run mid-February through the end of May.
Students must be sponsored by a fire department or EMS agency and priority will be given to Kentucky firefighters.
The Fire Commission will be covering the costs for this class. Students will attend for free and will receive a textbook, Platinum testing access and their first attempt at NREMT testing at no charge. Should a student withdraw after the class has begun, the sponsoring department/agency will be assessed a fee.
Registration will open 10am Eastern on January 8, 2025 and will conclude at 12pm Eastern on January 23, 2025. Once class maximums have been met, a waiting list will be formed. Click on the link below to register:
