IFSTA eLibrary Subscription Grant
The Fire Commission is pleased to announce a new grant initiative to benefit the fire departments of the Commonwealth. Effective August 15, 2023, the Fire Commission will be offering free subscription to the IFSTA eLibrary to firefighters in Kentucky.
Firefighters will have individual accounts with the most current editions of 36 IFSTA manuals, available for viewing on both desktop and mobile devices.
Users must have an IFSTA ResourceOne account to access these publications. ResourceOne accounts can be created via https://moodle.ifsta.org/.
Fire departments must submit an application through KyFIRES to have their members set up with the eLibrary. The application can be found on the “Webforms and Resources” section once logged into KyFIRES. Simply click the “Webforms and Resources” tab, select “Find & Complete a Webform” and then select “IFSTA eLibrary Application”. Once members have been set up, the department chief and/or training officer will be notified and provided additional instructions.
Fire departments should follow the same process above to remove any firefighter who is no longer active on the department or who no longer needs access to the eLibrary.
Questions regarding the IFSTA eLibrary should be directed to Jeremy Rodgers at jeremy.rodgers@kctcs.edu or (859) 256-3180.
