Incentive Eligibility Request Deadline Reminder

Subject: Reminder: 30-Day Timeline for Incentive Eligibility Requests

This is a reminder that the Incentive Eligibility Request Form must be received for newly eligible employees within 30 days of their date of hire as per Fire Commission policy and KRS 95.240 (1, 2). This includes eligible new hires and eligible lateral transfers. If a request is submitted after the 30 day timeline incentive eligibility will go into effect on the date the request form was received with no incentive backpay to the hire date.

We appreciate your cooperation and timely submission of the necessary paperwork so eligible firefighters can receive incentive funds.
