Summer 2022 Junior Weekend - Application Deadline Approaching

Applications are still being accepted for the Summer 2022 Junior Weekend! Please note the amended registration deadline of July 1, 2022.

This weekend will take place July 30-31, 2022 at the National Responder Preparedness Center in Greenville, KY, from 8am-5pm.  This session will focus on Fire Behavior, Fire Control, PPE, Water Supply, Forcible Entry and Hose/Nozzles/Appliances.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for juniors participating in the training. Participants must provide their own lodging and transportation daily. 

Participants shall be ages 15-17, part of a departmental junior program recognized by the Fire Commission and have a firefighter ID number.

Registration will conclude July 1, 2022. Updates will be posted on the Fire Commission website (https://kyfirecommission.kctcs.edu/ ) and the Fire Commission’s Junior Firefighter program’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/kyjrffprogram/).
