Summer 2022 Junior Weekend

Registration is now open for the Summer 2022 Junior Firefighter Weekend!

This weekend will take place July 30-31, 2022 at the National Responder Preparedness Center in Greenville, KY, from 8am-5pm.  This session will focus on Fire Behavior, Fire Control, PPE, Water Supply, Forcible Entry and Hose/Nozzles/Appliances.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for juniors participating in the training. Participants must provide their own lodging and transportation daily. 

Participants shall be ages 15-17, part of a departmental junior program recognized by the Fire Commission and have a firefighter ID number.

The registration form has fillable fields, and must be signed by the participating junior, parent/guardian of the participating junior and the fire chief of the participating junior. Email completed forms to: jrfirefighter@kctcs.edu.

Registration will conclude July 15, 2022. Updates will be posted on the Fire Commission website and the Fire Commission’s Junior Firefighter program’s Facebook page .
