2024 State Fire School Information

As students converge onto Lexington this week for State Fire School, we wanted to remind you that classes will be held throughout the Bluegrass and registered students will have received email confirmation of their class location. Please report directly to your classroom. For 2024, there will not be in-person registration check-in.  For last minute registration needs, visit our registration desk in Central Bank Center on Level 2 near the elevators. Registration will be open June 6, 7, and 8 from 7:00am – 4:00pm and on June 9 from 7:00am – 3:00pm.

Parking is available via the High Street Parking lot for $12/day. Note that due to a concert in Rupp Arena, special event parking fees go into effect Thursday, June 6 beginning at 3:00pm – if you must enter the lot after that time on June 6th, parking fees will increase.

Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase daily from Central Bank Center concessions on Level 3 outside of Exhibit Hall A. Central Bank Center is a CASHLESS institution. 

The Kentucky Firefighters Association will host their meeting Thursday, June 6, from 5:00-8:00pm in Central Bank Center Meeting Room 5. All are welcome to attend. 

Don’t forget about the Vendor Show Friday from 2:00-8:30pm at the Central Bank Center Exhibit Hall A. We will have a full hall of booths and apparatus! You do not need to be a State Fire School student to attend – the show is open to everyone. All registered students will receive a free t-shirt, challenge coin and $11 food voucher during the vendor show. Present a photo ID at the Kentucky Firefighters Association booth to receive these items.
