FY2023 Thermal Imaging Camera Grant Program Open

If your department is interested in applying for a Thermal Imaging Camera Grant to be awarded Fiscal Year 2023, please fill out the application linked below:

Once completed, send the application to FireGrants@kctcs.edu, deadline is September 30, 2022.

Our goal is to make sure every department throughout the Commonwealth has at least one camera within their department.  We will award the grant based on a date stamp return of the application and the number of camera’s your department currently has.  

In an effort to streamline the Thermal Imaging Camera Grant program and reduce paperwork, the Kentucky Fire Commission will be making all purchases and awarding the camera to the departments chosen.

KRS 95A.440 requires a two-year non-eligibility period.  If your department was awarded this grant in the past two fiscal years you ARE NOT eligible to apply at this time.
