The tornadic events of December 10-11, 2021 have created a need for assistance in the days to come. Our leadership team has spoken with both local and on-site officials, there is a great deal of uncertainty that remains. Fact gathering and meetings are continuing to assist with creating the most efficient incident action plan possible.  Those officials have requested at this time for agencies to not self-deploy as they are currently trying to get the situation with on-scene personnel under control and operating in an organized manner. 

The Fire Commission requests that any fire department which is willing to provide personnel in the days to come in the affected areas,  please email jeremy.rodgers@kctcs.edu so that we are able to track resources and maintain an accurate record of requests for assistance.   

It goes without saying but join the Kentucky Fire Commission/State Fire Rescue Training in continuing to pray for all the citizens and emergency personnel that have been affected and those that will be assisting.
