The Fire Academy of Kentucky Class 004 - Registraton Now Open
Registration is now open for The Fire Academy of Kentucky's Class 004!
Recruit Class 004 will run 13 weeks (February 19-May 17, 2024) at our facility in Greenville. This class meets all requirements for Kentucky Basic 2 certification for career firefighter Incentive Pay.
Upon successful testing, recruits will earn the following IFSAC Accredited Certifications:
Firefighter I
Firefighter II
Hazardous Materials Awareness
Hazardous Materials Operations
Driver/Operator – Pumper
Driver/Operator – Mobile Water Supply
Participating recruits must be a member of a Kentucky fire department (career or volunteer), must be 18 years of age by the start of class, and hold a valid CPAT card. Additional requirements and information can be found via the flyer link below:
Meals and lodging for recruits during the Academy are provided by the Kentucky Fire Commission at no charge.
