**Note that the above locations are proposed, and subject to change, if needed, to better serve the geographic locations of students who accept an offer of class enrollment, and acknowledge their attendance for the class. **

Students MUST be sponsored by a Kentucky fire department. The Sponsorship Form shall be uploaded and submitted at the time of class registration.

Junior firefighters are welcome to complete an application for a class, however, priority will be given to adult career and volunteer firefighters; junior firefighters will be placed on a waiting list. If space permits, and a junior firefighter is invited to participate in the class, approval from their department and a signed SFRT waiver from a guardian are required to complete ride time – incomplete status of either of these will prohibit the junior firefighter from participating in this class.

The Fire Commission will be covering the costs for this class. Students will attend for free and will receive a textbook, Platinum testing access and their first attempt at NREMT testing at no charge. Should a student withdraw after the class has begun, the sponsoring fire department will be assessed a fee.

Registration will open on November 6, 2025 and will conclude at 5pm Eastern on November 28, 2025. After the closing date, a selection committee will review the registration lists and an announcement regarding enrollment status will be provided to registrants in December.
