KyFIRES System Update

KyFIRES will be undergoing scheduled maintenance July 30, 2025 beginning at 9pm. The system will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours during this time. 

Required Documentation - Fire Chief Changes

Effective immediately (July 24, 2025), fire departments are required to submit supporting documentation for all Fire Chief changes. This documentation indicating a change in leadership must be submitted with the Fire Department Data Change Form in order for the chief change to be effective and recognized by the Fire Commission.

This documentation should be in the form of a notice from the governing body of the fire department on official letterhead, but may also be provided from board meeting minutes where the change was authorized. 

***Please do not send any documentation for changes that have already occurred - this notice is ONLY for changes that occur from today forward.***
