FY2026 Personal Protective Equipment Grant Award List

The Fire Commission is pleased to announce the following recipients of the FY2026 Personal Protective Equipment Grant:

Approval letters have been provided to each receiving department with instructions.

503 applications were received for this grant and funding was available to award 200 departments. Applications were ranked based on the number of active firefighters with no assigned gear, sets of gear older than 10 years and the department’s operational budget. The Grant Committee decisions were based on this ranked criteria.
