State Fire Rescue Training

Well-trained responders are needed when emergency events, small to large, natural and manmade, occur.

Responders from multiple disciplines must be prepared for all hazards. State Fire Rescue Training is providing this training for current and future responders in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

State Fire Rescue Training provides a full range of educational programs from the basic to the advanced, including:

  • Fire Prevention and Fire Suppression
  • Response to Technical Rescue Incidents
  • Emergency Medical Services
  • Response to Hazardous Materials Incidents
  • Leadership and Management
  • Community Awareness and Preparation

State Fire Rescue Training delivers training to all disciplines of emergency response, including fire departments, rescue squads, emergency medical services, local governments, businesses, and industries.

State Fire Rescue Training works through 12 district offices strategically placed across Kentucky. Each district office can provide our full range of training programs and services.

Operating as a Division of the Kentucky Fire Commission, part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, State Fire Rescue Training is prepared to meet any of your educational needs as a current or future responder.
