Fire Commission Closing

Due to an all-day power shutoff from installation of a new transformer, the Fire Commission office in Paris will be closed Friday, May 2, 2025. We will reopen for business Monday, May 5, 2025.

State Fire Rescue Training

Training Specialist - Districts 9, 11, 15

The Training Specialist for Districts 9, 11, 15 is based out of the District 9 office, located at 99 Lake Park Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

The Fire Commission Training Specialist position plans, prepares, and conducts trainings for the Kentucky Fire Commission/State Fire Rescue Training. The Training Specialist is responsible to ensure that equipment and curriculum needs are ready and available and act as an instructor in the courses that are delivered in the local districts, as well as across the Commonwealth when scheduled.
